A field-trip to tharwa valley forge with the team at Vert Design, making two custom folding knives from scratch, starting out with steel and brass sheet, meticulously hand crafting the spring and pin mechanism, heat treating and tempering the steel to achieve the required properties for each part, shaping the timber handle, assembly and peening and finally blade sharpening.
